A structured CBSE journey — Nursery to Class 12

Every stage at Worthington follows the CBSE curriculum, layered with audio-visual learning, activity-based teaching, and consistent formative assessments so children move up ready for the next class — not just promoted.

Stages of learning

Foundational (Nursery – Class 2)

Play-way, story-led, audio-visual instruction. Focus on early literacy in English and Hindi, number sense, motor skills, and social readiness. Small teacher-student ratio.

Preparatory (Classes 3 – 5)

Introduction of structured subjects — English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS, Computer basics, Arts and PE. Weekly reading periods, spell-bees, and inter-house quizzes strengthen fundamentals.

Middle (Classes 6 – 8)

CBSE syllabus with Science, Social Science, Sanskrit as third language, dedicated computer lab periods, and first exposure to competitive exams including the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test.

Secondary (Classes 9 – 10)

Full board-preparation programme with weekly tests, doubt-clearing sessions, and pre-board simulations under real exam conditions.

Senior Secondary (Classes 11 – 12)

Streams offered: Science (PCM / PCB), Commerce, and Humanities. Career counselling sessions from Class 11 onwards.

Teaching methodology

  • Audio-visual smart-class content mapped to each CBSE chapter.
  • Weekly practice tests + fortnightly parent updates.
  • Special preparation for Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNVST).
  • Remedial sessions for students needing extra support.

Assessments

We follow the CBSE-mandated pattern: Periodic Tests, Multiple Assessments, Portfolio, Subject Enrichment and Term-end examinations. Parents receive detailed report cards along with teacher comments each term.
